Paper-insulated rectangular wires consist of conductive material surrounded by insulating material, such as Kraft paper, thermally stabilized paper, and other similar papers. The addition of insulating paper prevents the conductive component from making contact with other wires and components within an electrical or electronic device. It also serves as a protective layer against moisture and other environmental factors.
At LP Industry, our highly qualified and awarded team of experts tailors the production of our paper-insulated rectangular wires—including in regard to the type of insulating paper and method of insulation employed—to meet various international industry standards and customer specifications. We offer a wide range of insulating paper material options, including crepe paper, standard and thermally upgraded Kraft paper, and Nomex® paper. Additionally, we can customize the wire order to meet some of the most stringent production requirements, whether a customer needs multiple layers and butt-lapped, overlapped, or interlocked paper insulation.
The annealed conductor of Paper Covered Magnet Wire is extruded or dawn from oil-free copper rod or electrical round aluminum rod with certain specification mould. Then the copper or aluminum conductor is wrapped with two layers' or more than two layers' insulation paper including telephone paper, cable paper, high voltage paper, NOMEX paper, turn-to turn insulation paper. The product is widely applied in oil-immersed transformers and other similar electrical instruments. The electrical bare copper or aluminum wire with extrusion process is the ideal material for kraft paper wrapped copper or aluminum wire.
Industrial Applications of Paper Insulated Wire
Paper-insulated rectangular wires are used as winding coils in a variety of high-voltage electrical and electronic devices, equipment, and systems. Typical products in which they are found include:
Generators
Manufacturing equipment (e.g., welding systems)
Motors
Transformers (e.g., dry-type, power, and distribution transformers)
